Find your exact model: The model name, such as DeskJet 2734e or LaserJet Pro M404n, is printed on the front of the printer. The label on the back or underneath also shows the product number, which HP's support site accepts too. Printers with similar names often need different software.

Which download do I need? For most people the full driver and software package is the right choice: it installs the print driver, the scan driver and the HP utilities in one go. Choose a basic driver only if you just need to print, and check that the package matches your operating system (Windows, macOS or Linux) before you install it.
